Purpose of this Website: Welcome! This website is intended to help members of the public find a licensed reflexologist in ND, provide information about what reflexology education and CEU's are accepted by the Board, how to become licensed in ND, and some general information about reflexology and organizations related to reflexology. About Us: In 1993, North Dakota became the first state to pass a reflexology law which was signed by then Governor, Ed Schafer. The North Dakota Reflexology Board (NDRB) was established to independently license reflexologists in ND. Chapter 43-49 Sections 01 to 13 of the North Dakota Century Code relate to the licensure of reflexologists. It was amended and signed by Governor Jack Dalrymple in 2011. Our Mission: Our mission is to ensure the health and safety of reflexology consumers in North Dakota. The Board licenses all that have met the requirements to be licensed for reflexology in North Dakota and charge a fee for reflexology services. This includes anyone working in a spa, massage therapy office, chiropractic office, etc. that offers reflexology as a separate or additional service. Complaints or concerns can be brought to the attention of any of the Board members listed below. Who We Are: The North Dakota Reflexology Board (NDRB) is separate from The North Dakota Reflexology Association (NDRA). The two are often confused with one another, but they are different entities with some shared goals but also with different purposes or responsibilities. The NDRA is a member driven organization with officers elected for 3 year terms by their members. They generally have two meetings a year. The NDRB consists of three licensed reflexologists, that are members of the North Dakota Reflexology Association, and are appointed for three-year terms by the Governor of North Dakota. Traditionally, the members have met twice a year, but can meet more often.
